The emirate offers endless opportunities to navigate both sides of this always-growing metropolis.

Mystique of the islands
Owning a premium island property is the ultimate escape. Islands whether large and small, tropical or temperate, faraway or a fast boat ride to the mainland, provide a lifestyle of unparalleled privacy and escapism. Find solitude and relaxation in these beautiful islands-quiet, safe havens with one's own private, sandy beaches. Adding to the allure of island life are luxurious accommodations and amenities: a main house and guest cottages, swimming pools and spas, helipads, airstrips, boat docks, all in close proximity to the shore.
Island fiefdom brings the dream to life, our collection of sensational islands and properties includes private islands a few miles from Dubai and sheltered completed or off-plan properties surrounded by coral reefs, teeming with sea life. Choose from beautiful island resorts in the Bahamas or the British Virgin Islands, a sailing mecca where white sands meet turquoise water. In Greece, the islands of the Aegean and Ionian archipelagos are famed for their white-stucco villas, rocky inlets, and calm waters. And in Thailand, you can escape from it all on a lush tropical island with palm trees and sugar-sand beaches.
Why The World
The World Islands are a collection of man-made islands shaped into the continents of the world, located off the coast of Dubai in the United Arab Emirates. It consists of 300 small private artificial islands divided into four categories - private homes, estate homes, dream resorts, and community islands.
The World Islands is located 4 kilometres off the shore of Jumeirah, close to the Palm Jumeirah, between Burj Al Arab and Port Rashid at approximately 25 degrees 13 North and 55 degrees 10 East.
The incredible development adds over 232 kilometers of beachfront to Dubai's coastline, offering unprecedented investment opportunities in the form of leisure, residential and tourist developments.
Comprising 7 sets of islands, it represents the world's continents, Europe, Asia, Africa, North and South America, Oceania and Antarctica.
Each island will range from 250,000 to 900,000 square feet (23,226 to 83,613 square meters) in size, with 50 to 100 meters (164 to 328 feet) of water between each island. It will cover a total area of 9 kilometers (5.4 miles) in length and 6 kilometers (3.6 miles) in width, surrounded by an oval shaped breakwater. The only means of transportation between the islands will be by marine or air transport.
The unparalleled opportunities that can be found on The World wouldn't be complete without absolute peace of mind. While the islands are created for privacy and exclusivity, the thoughtful infrastructure is designed for the safety and convenience of investors, residents and visitors - an infrastructure that allows you to relax and leave the mainland behind.
